This is the third in a trilogy of books offered by three different authors. I recommend you get all three and read them in order (Inferno, Haunted, Sanctuary). In this, the first two stories come to meet and the reasons given fully. Mercy is a force to be reckonded with. She holds the secrect to much and has kept it hidden. An innocent in youth she bears the responsibility of her clan without knowing the full scope of the plot. Certainly she knows she is the keeper of the Sanctuary. But, she knows not of the full breadth of scope. In this last book, the full story of the clans is revealed with a twist that is as surprising as it is thrilling. An unlikely hero springs up and tosses the whole mix into danger when the biggest secret of Raintree Sanctuary is revealed. Mercy is a warrior like no other female in any story I have read. And I read a TON. She fights with the fierceness of a mother bear protecting her young and with as much strength of any male hero in any novel. This book is a culmination and a finale' worth the time to read at least once. A re-read is likely!
