Original tan hardback cover, with black writing and simple decoration on the front cover, and gold lettering and simple black decoration on the backstrip. The cover is in poor condition, with the corners and the top and bottom of the backstrip being very scuffed and there being a small tear to the side of the backstrip. The binding is torn inside both covers, and the front endpaper has been removed by the library. There is a bookplate inside the front cover, and the owner's name inscribed in ink on the title page. The binding is beginning to loosen at multiple points through the pageblock, and the pages have barely browned with age. The text remains in good condition, with no annotations, foxing, or other significant markings throughout. This book has hardback covers.
