Some of the proceeds will go to help a positive action group The Common Weal who have set up to take positive action in the long-term alleviation of poverty and some will go to the Leith Hub community development project promoting inclusion, community development, support, inter-community care, celebration of diversity and heritage, green/ecoliving, local work placements, inter-generational and multicultural interaction and generally creating links and breaking down barriers where at present there is quite a lot of division in a community that has endured a period of extreme austerity in our part of the world.
