Had to get this book for my Veterinary Technology Class. It moves a bit quickly if you are unfamiliar with any medical language, and tends to repeat itself, but overall a pretty good book. Has a lot of workbook items to physically work out, so it is very hands on. Also has small areas in each chapter with some basic anatomy and physiology.
