Once in Higgins' house, Eliza is subjected to intensely repetitive phonetics lessons in an effort to transform her Cockney accent into the speech of proper English. Things are a bit rocky at first, with Eliza blurting out "Not bloody likely" at a tea party. If this is not one of the greatest movies/plays ever, I do not what beats it on the list. Usually, Shaw emphasized the message and downplays the characters, but not in this movie/play.
The theme that liberals can be more prejudiced than those they are prejudiced against is beautifully delivered.
