As a pilot and a former Navy officer, I enjoyed this book so much that after finishing it, I did send it on to a friend who is a pilot. This outstanding writer did a great job describing life aboard a carrier and flying the Tomcat. It's unfortunate that the sequels are so expensive. I'll keep looking for them.
