I first received this as a gift from a friend shortly after I was born-again. I still read through it regularly as part of my morning devotions. It's is truly a classic in its own time.

Not what you think
The interpetations of the Psalms is very weak and does not in my opinion capture the spirit of the original Psalms. It appears to be the authors own spin on their perception of the psalms. For somone who is not grounded in their beliefs it could allow them to develop some misconceptions about the Psalms
