This book seeks to create some modern parables by "throwing" some baseball stuff beside the universal truth of the Psalms, with the hope of bringing God nearer. I entered the "house of baseball" at about the same time God called me into His family. Through the years, as I've explored this "house of baseball," I've discovered some windows that provide breathtaking views of truths I've encountered in the Psalms. These connections have enriched my life. I hope they will do the same for others in the "family of baseball."
