In front of the global community of diversities, the judicious relativist faces the future as a rather blind journey. An all-encompassing grasp is still what one intelligent being is entitled to look for and should care about. The postmodern demise of philosophy leaves a void that we had better fill with a new overall conception, one open to pluralism without giving up the kind of comprehensive understanding long sought by philosophers. A primary convergence of concepts below a seedbed of welcome difference is what prosophy attends to.
