Very Good (Plus). No Jacket. 12mo-over 6¾"-7¾" tall. Originally written in 1783, this version was first published in 1857. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the Second Edition, from twenty years later. Includes a Memoir of Penn by James M. Brown of Virginia. Maroon cloth binding, stamped on the front cover, with gilt titling. Clean text; 89 pages, with an Appendix of "Gospel Truths." There are two pages of "Opinions of the Press" in the front. Very minor rubbing at the margins; a rear endpaper has been torn out. An interesting bit of American religious history.
