Having been a prolific reader my whole life, I thought I had read all the gothic romance books on the market. Recently, I picked up a book at the library by this author and found that it was a gothic romance, along the lines of Phillis Whitney or Dorothy Eden. It has suspense and romance and a plot makes it difficult to put the book down. This book opened up a whole new series of books for me, and I would happily recommend them to others.
