Time is ticking before a killer finishes the job..
Point Of Danger is the novel I was waiting for and didn't even know it. It's the book I never expected to find. And the funny thing is that I could easily have missed it. I didn't even really read the cover blurb, instead I chose it because I've read a few of Irene Hannon's previous romantic suspense novels and enjoyed them. But this, this one is by far my favorite of hers and I know Point Of Danger will be making my list of top favorite books read this year.
Irene Hannon started off this book and the Triple Threat series with a real bang. And I mean that literally, the first page features the heroine finding a ticking package on her front porch! And from there on it's one wild ride of danger and betrayal. From the dramatic cover with its pearly finish to the very last punctuation mark this book is a fun and intense read. There are a lot of twists, turns, and some shocking surprises leading up to the final showdown with a killer.
As one of the millions of Americans with conservative political leanings it is so nice to finally be represented in fiction. And this time not as a nut-job or a sweet but totally out of touch person. Nope, our heroine is a conservative radio show host who is vibrant, interesting, and a strong woman of faith. And trust me, the hero, flawed and hurt though he is, is the perfect match for her.
I highly recommend Point Of Danger for any fan of of Irene Hannon and romantic suspense. It kept me awake turning the pages to find out what would happen next. And I absolutely can not wait for the next Triple Threat novel...
(I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)
