Seller's Description:
None. Very Good Indeed. A lovely and scarce first edition of Rachel Annand Taylor's first collection of poetry, with a brilliant personal inscription by the author. This is Annand-Taylor's first poetry collection. Rachel Annand Taylor (1876-1960) was a Scottish poet, biographer and literary critic. Her later works included 'Rose and Vine' and 'The Hours of Fiammetta'; among her admirers were D. H. Lawrence, Hillaire Belloc and Richard Aldington. With a charming inscription by the author, 'To the Masked Romanticist and his Lady, from their Friend, Rachel Annand Taylor'. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, the head of the spine is a little bumped. Spine is a touch cocked. Author's inscription to the front endpaper. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed.
