As an adult watching a loved one decline is heartbreaking, adding Alzheimer's to the mix brings even harder emotions as you try to deal with and understand what is happening all at the same time. The author creates a lovely, relatable, and touching story about Seth and his grandmother who begins to suffer from Alzheimer's. With wonderful and helpful illustrations you follow Seth as he begins to understand and devises ways he can help.
The second half of the book is a really helpful handbook for parents/caregivers which includes information on Alzheimer's, tips, support, and references to help carry you through.
A blanket of support is how I feel this book would feel to readers who are going through this, both young and old, or even know someone who has a loved one suffering from this disease and wants to offer help when needed.
