First edition of this life story of Herman Brix (i.e. Bruce Bennett), who started life working in the lumber camps and sawmills for his family in Southwest Washington, and later the Olympic Peninsula. Later, he played in the 1926 Rose Bowl for the University of Washington, won a silver medal at the 1928 Olympics, and finally took the role of Tarzan in 1935.
