Philosophy is such an ever-evolving field that requires the inner spiritual connection to nature and society. Often the focus when studying philosophy consists of always questions the status quo and the established norms of society, which in most instances are established by a narrow ruling political class. Political and social concerns that are raised by citizens require further philosophical insight best applied using the inner spiritual and outer natural senses in solving political and social issues in a just society. The classic philosophers practice practical or comprehensive thinking, critical thinking, and reflective thinking to examine the problem from different perspectives and purposes. Great Greek philosophers such as Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle asked similar questions but proposed resolving them by different means. Philosophers were concerned with moral character but referred to it as "virtue" and focused on their attention on how citizens could be "virtuous."
