The author of this book does not profess to be a theologian. He is a member of the flock of God; a simple sheep looking for good shepherds to lead him to the green pastures and still waters of biblical truth. He tells us why he cannot follow the clever shepherds who lead him into the concrete paths and plastic pastures of what passes for 'modern theology'. He knows that much of what he says will be dismissed with an impatient wave of the crook, but his position is that of a simple sheep who believes the Bible. Although occasionally satirical, this book is not naive. It will stimulate thought.
