Some rubbing at the spine tails and along the spine edges. Some surface rubbing. Gilt bright. 2" dampstain in the fore-edge margin of several pages at the end of V1. Light dampstaining to the page edges; only in some areas, and only to the outer 1/4" at most; not affecting text or image. Some age-toning / foxing to the blank end-sheets. And some of the plate tissues are foxed, but this doesn't seem to have affected any of the images. Light edgewear to the fore-edge of the first blank on V1. There is a previous owners name and address inked on the first blank of V2. Else pages clean, Still a fairly nice set.
