This book was decent, although I felt that it had a lot more potential. For starters- whether it was poor editing or poor writing, I'm not sure, but I ended the book feeling confused about the roles of certain characters. Key plot points were never laid out explicitly, and I felt confounded in general. Another irritating aspect was that the climax of the novel occurred about 50 pages before the actual end, which just caused the book to drag. Overall, this 500+ page novel could have been 300 pages and I would have enjoyed it much more thoroughly.
