I bought this book with some apprehension owing to other reviews which were mixed. Since I have other books by Fielder that I greatly enjoy I decided to take a chance with this one. I AM GLAD I DID.
The subtitle of the book is "The Art of Seeing" and it is very appropriate as Fielder is attempting to help the reader expand his/her awareness of the difference between flawed landscape photography, good photography, and great photography.
Be warned that not all of the photos in this book are good themselves as some are meant to be EXAMPLES of what NOT TO DO!
If you are looking for a book full of fantastic photos then bypass this book. However, if you are looking for excellent instruction in how to improve your photographic vision then by all means give this book a try.
