Our work has been greatly delayed, much time having been cnnsnmcd in obtaining photographs from which to make oursketchcs, most of them being furnished from the well-known studio of Gilbert 8: Bacon, m whom we are greatly indebted for the excellent likenesses supplied, their thorough knowledge of the style of picture te quired being of great assistance in our reproductiuns.
