Fair+, lacking maps and has tattered covers. Printed sewn wraps, reddish brown covers. [2], 142, [12] pages with 54 (of 60) illustrations LACKING FOUR MAPS and the signature containing pages 51-66. The 60 engravings are by Baxter, from his original photographs. Although there are no maps present, there is no evidence to indicate they were ever in this book to begin with. There are no markings or signs of removal or remnants at the four locations where the list of illustrations places them. Scarce.
