Another very fine song (there are several on this compilation) is "Cariocas," whose lyrics are a series of statements about the general characters of "cariocas," as the inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro are called. "Mentiras," "Naquela Estação," "Senhas," "Marina" and "Por Isso Eu Corro Demais" are other excellent songs, most of which are dominated by Calcanhotto's clear, soothing voice and a bossa nova inspired violão.
