Wonderful read. Peig Sayers left a legacy recounting a time and place in life which was both harsh, deliberate and full of all the wonderful things associated with community. The book was written in such a way as though the reader is sitting before a peat fire listening to Peig weave her tale of life as it once was in a place no longer inhabited.
