Hold onto your hats!
I was privileged to know JohnO at exactly the time when this book was published. Recently I read that he had died and thought I should like to have a copy and re-read it. It's NOT for the faint-hearted, even though he was aiming it at the 'general reader'. BUT, if you would like to study a radical view of Paul's theology, I can think of no better person to guide you through the process. He's still ahead of his time now, just think what we felt, listening to him in 1975! He was a learned, studious, kind, wickedly humourous man of profound faith. I will miss him for the rest of my life.
