Apollo is absent from the trial of the Prophets, in spite of Athena's efforts to persuade him to take part. But, this philanthropist god and lover of beauty has decided to abandon Olympus and live among mortals for the sake of Daphne, a modest shepherdess and famed beauty of Parnassus.
