A collection of poems formed in collaboration to outline a journey through the Covid-19 quarantine of 2020. The authors have produced poetry in isolation which have been brought together to tell a tale of emotions and themes in a similar nature that one might see in a grief cycle. The elements blend together the poignant ups and downs of the previous and foreseeable coming months to uncover topics ranging from; Moral guilt in light of the impending climate crisis, companionships taken for granted undermining the importance of human connection, hopes for a fairer, kinder society, appreciation for those who have been the underdog time and time again, desires for intimate contact with loved ones and filthy sex with strangers, anger and confusion derived from the fuckery of the current conservative government in their catastrophic failings to protect the most vulnerable in society, mental struggles of existential dread and the search for a higher purpose from the living room. All proceeds from this book will be donated to MIND to tackle the escalating mental health crisis.
