The book is well presented and it is very informative in its historical aspects, the details of the canal, and its ?modus operandi?. It includes a very nice pull out map of the Panama Canal that it is almost accurate. I say almost, because it does not show the Centennial Bridge over the Gaillard Cut, this is a major bridge built in 2004 and it is as impressive as the Bridge of the Americas nine miles south. For a book with a copyright of 2006, the omission of this important bridge is hard to understand, unless it was written long before and never updated. Except for this slip I certainly recommend the book, it was a very important preparation to my recent trip across the canal aboard a cruise ship.
