Helen Van Wyk's Flowers
Surely Helen Van Wyk needs no introduction to artists. This is a classic book, in my opinion. The author/artist is one who studied painting, specifically oil painting, and this knowledge just seeps through the book. Her flowers are exquisite, looking more beautiful than the real thing, if that were possible. Though it is oil painting, it is applicable to any medium, but if you are an oil painter, this book will surely help your oil painting, as well as your painting of flowers. This book is a real joy, and I am very glad to have obtained a copy.
