Not the best copy of this book, but interesting because pasted to the front inside cover is a short letter, dated November 1945, from Sally Longstaff to an unknown climber, thanking him / her for showing her climbs in the previous month. Sally Longstaff, perhaps better known as Sally Amos, is the daughter of Tom Longstaff, accomplished explorer and mountaineer. The letter is also signed by George Amos and a Jo and Luis Sanche. The book cloth is foxed and a little marked. There is light foxing in the prelims otherwise the text is clean. Good. Size: 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall.
