Seller's Description:
Near Fine in Good jacket. Book. Folio-over 12-15" tall. This fully illustrated, comprehensive survey of oriental rugs and carpets focuses on structural and design features that identify a rug's precise origins. Assumed first edition, first printing with letter line sequence running "h" thru "a." The book itself is in lovely, near-perfect condition. Aside from some light soiling (sticker residue? ) to the upper right corner of the front free endpaper and the slightest hint of foxing to the upper textblock edge, this is a very clean copy with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. The pages are crisp and bright with also just the slightest hint of browning to the outside edges. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square, and the red cloth boards are clean, flat and true with minimal wear. Dust jacket is not clipped, though there is no price. Dust jacket has a 2" tear at the lower right corner/foreedge of the front cover and a 3/4" tear at the upper left corner of the back cover. Otherwise the jacket is in "very good" condition with just some general edge wear, scuffing, browning, and a spot here and there. Additional postage required, as this is an over-sized book at approximately 13" by 10". Satisfaction guaranteed!
