Oregon Geographic Names
Ever wonder why that creek or little town was named what it was? This book gives you the reason. Its only limitation seems to be that it ties to post offices, although I'm really not certain how accurate this statement is. I do know, though, that as I read books on Oregon history, this book is on the night stand and is used frequently. The longer I have it, the more I use it. For those of you that think like I do, I would highly recommend it.
