These are free gingiva, attached gingiva and interdental gingivap. Periodontal therapy is broadly classified into 4 phases. These are disease control phase, surgical phase, restorative phase and maintenance phase. Dental implants are surgical fixtures which are placed on the jawbone. Over a period of a few months, they are allowed to fuse with the bone. This book studies, analyses and upholds the pillars of periodontology and its utmost significance in modern times.
