There are already several dozen reviews on Amazon for Kimberley Stuart's "Operation Bonnet" that are much better written than anything I can write. I recommend the book - read it easily in two evenings. It is not a typical "Amish" novel. I did wonder why Amos Shetler left the Amish, though, and why John Yoder was "scum of the pond," but those are minor points.
The author lives in Des Moines, the setting is the Ohio Amish settlement, and I am writing this in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the "heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country."
