I knew some of the people involved in this story, and remember it being rather fascinating back then. This is "channelled" material that people like John Denver and Gene Rodenberry, who wrote Star Trek, were involved in. You can open the book anywhere and get enough to think about for days on end. It's very moral and high-minded and I have yet to find much in the book that I disagree with. Indeed, it's like a spiritual awakening. It's the perfect companion to Phyliss' other book written by Stuart Holroyd "The Nine...Briefings from Deep Space", from which Gene Rodenberry developed his new TV series Deep Space Nine. "There's more here on this earth Horatio, that one can ever dream of."
