The vibe is not for everyone and of course there are challenges, such as the high cost of housing and office space, but between 14,000 and 19,000 start-ups have now settled here. More than half of the entrepreneurs come from around the world, so it makes no difference where in the world you are right now. A good idea is always welcome here - and has a chance of success, provided you play your cards right. In much the same way, learning the essentials of building a start-up as well as profiting from others experiences, is the reason we've conducted these interviews and assembled them in this book.
