Louis Prima's longtime bandleader keeps the torch burning brightly on this live outing, blowing the roof off of some unnamed lounge with a vengeance. The band is a strong match for any of the classic versions of the Witnesses (the band who Butera led on all the Prima recordings) and Butera does a nice stand-in for Prima on "Just a Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody," "I'm Confessin'," and the closer, a medley of "Cella Luna/When the Saints Go Marching In."
