Once you get used to Mr. Grand's use of language, you will be sucked in just as I was. Wonderful old tales of horses, fox hunting and life in the country. Mr. Grand's character development is such that you feel as if you are sitting next to the fire with Colonel Weatherford. I am anxious to read the rest of Gordon Grands work. Highly recommend.
