Gretchen Wolff Pritchard's Offering the gospel to children is one of the most thoughtful and intelligent books on Christian education with children that I have read. I say that, having taught in the field for many years. Emerging from her experience and reflective practice, Pritchard shares her insights with an obvious respect for her religious tradition and for the ability of the children she works with. She has perceived and adapted key movements in Christian education, including those of Cavalletti and Berryman.
Here is an educator who enjoys her work and encourages freedom of thought and expression. I wish my own children had learned about faith from this person!
