Off Season is a fast paced novel that is an excellent introduction to Jack Ketchum as an author. Ketchum's graphic drescriptions and writng style move the plot at a pace that makes you want to read the entire novel in a single sitting. I will say that some of the caracters are a bit shallow which is why I did not rate this novel 5 stars. All in all this is a very enjoyable read. This is a must have for any horror collection.
