I was required to read this book for a class I took, taught by the author, Mike Harvey. The course was a lot of fun and was wonderfully illustrated by the colorful stories in the book. As an audiologist, I could totally appreciate the issues dealt with in the chapters, and each one highlighted a different issue or technique for dealing with it. If you are deaf or hard-of-hearing, or have a family member or friend who is, I would HIGHLY recommend this book - it will give you a million insights into the strange up-and-down world of hearing loss.
