For anyone seriously interested in improving health and nutrition, I highly recommend this book. I ordered it first for myself and then bought another copy as a gift for my daughter, a certified nutritional consultant. She said it is perfect and she loves it. Although it probably would not eliminate the need for blood analysis for someone who is ill, the book is a very good tool to pinpoint areas of nutrition that are weak and need improvement. The book is made up mostly of a series of "tests" in the form of questions for you to answer. At the end of each test is the key to the score, which indicates whether you are low in a specific nutrient and how to meet those nutritional needs. Just one personal example: I developed unusual white areas on my toenails. One of the tests in the book indicated a zinc deficiency. I took the book recommendations and the toenails are now pink and healthy. I am amazed at all the immunity functions that depend on zinc. I really appreciate the early warning. If this is one of your interests, buy this book!
