National Health is not entirely well!
Carl Giles was an English satirical institution for nearly fifty years, though he is little known outside the U.K., and this book is a fine compilation of some of his best cartoons regarding England's National Health Service. You don't need to be familiar with the topics of the day in order to appreciate the humor -- though of course, it doesn't hurt. Giles was a superb draughtsman and had a keen eye for telling detail, so each of his cartoons is a delight in itself besides being a perceptive mirror of British culture.
