Long before this book was thought of, Asimov wrote the fairly short story "Nightfall". Then Silverberg and he got together to generalize the story, make it a bit longer, show what happened next. I do not think this novel a complete success, but I do recommend it for those who have read the short story.

An amazing story! Just as good as the short story! Even better! The condition of the book was amazing as well, almost new.
