That's easy to hear in the two polyphonic organ pieces here, which receive crack performances from Suzuki on the fine organ at Yale's Marquand Chapel. The influence in the vocal pieces is a bit harder to hear. Bruhns is closer to Buxtehude (and there's even the flavor of Heinrich Schütz) in these chamber cantatas, for soloists, violins, and organ continuo, than he is to Bach.
