Though only 12 years old, he has always been malnourished, thus small for his age, and looks like nine or ten. Dumpy completed the sixth grade of elementary school about the time both of his parents died from an overdose of a narcotic called Fentanyl citrate or Sublimaze. His home for the last several years has been in the local municipal dump and a drain pipe, which he managed to pry open the steel bars, construct a metal cover, secure an old padlock which he uses to shut the structure for safety. Today, however, his life forever changes when he looks underneath a mound of trash and debris and discovers a bright red pair of suede shoes.
