This book arrived in new condition as described, shrink wrap and all. I got such a good deal, too. I would recommend this bible to anyone who is digging into God's word! This bible contains many study extras and an interesting, simple way to learn to read and understand the text. There is ample room to write in the margins, which is a big help.

Best Study Tool
For those of you wanting to mine the truths in scripture for yourself, this is the Bible you must work with. It provides a complete overview of the concepts of inductive study, which enables you to understand the Bible on your own (without the plethora of liberal or inaccurate commentary that is out there). The Bible was never meant to be read; it was meant to be studied! It provides the necessary historical and cultural information in each book of the bible, as well as leading questions to guide you on your journey through scripture. This particular format provides you the tools to enable you to understand WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and HOW to get to the most important understanding of WHY.
Why did God create us?
Why did He sacrifice His Son for us?
Do I matter, if so, why?
You don't need to be a Bible scholar or theologian to understand the Bible. You only need some fundamental tools to help you in your studies. They provided throughout the text.
