This rhyming 'touch and feel' board book would be 'excellent' except for the fact that one of the four pages doesn't rhyme. This is one of a series of books, which I was hoping to purchase, but I needed a shark book for the newborn in the family since sharks are the theme I am using for the older children at this time. The text itself is imaginative and visually attractive as are the illustrations--sure to capture the older children's attention as well. The 'touch and feel' part appear as if it will wear well. However, the line on page three that reads, '... it's not a good idea' definitely does not rhyme with '... then you can wave and cheer.' Even if 'idea' could have been replaced with 'plan,' it would have offered more options. In my opinion, rhyming books need to rhyme throughout the story so as not to confuse young children.
