Is it too late....?
I've really been looking forward to Elizabeth Goddard's first foray into full-length romantic suspense novels since I first heard several months ago that it would be releasing. Some authors have difficulty switching from either short to long stories or long to short stories, Elizabeth Goddard had no such trouble with Never Let Go. Exciting, spine-tingling, and definitely action-packed, from the very start, this book was a great start to the Uncommon Justice series.
As a person fascinated by family history from a very young age, I found the heroine's profession to be unusual and perfectly intriguing. I had heard of genealogists before but the term 'forensic genealogist' was a new one to me.
I sincerely enjoyed Never Let Go, from the dramatic cover to the very last paragraph. The characters are engaging, the mystery is engrossing, the settings are striking, and the back-and-forth tug of romance between Willow and Austin is just right. Not to mention the elements of faith woven throughout the story are a perfect complement to the backdrop intrigue fraught with danger.
Whether you love the Elizabeth Goddard's shorter books or just romantic suspense in general, Never Let Go is a MUST read. Don't miss a single page!
(I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)
