She takes it to current top country singer, Dwight Deacon, who loves and records it - but then claims that he has written it himself. Savanna pursues Dwight who, after succumbing to her charms rather than her anger, publicly admits that it is she who wrote the song - and she finally achieves her aim to become a success in Nashville.
